Today has been a great day. I thank the new puppy next door for letting me sleep in a little bit later than usual.
I was so excited to finish the last hoodie for my friend Erica. Her nickname is "Cakes" (Ericakes, get it?)
In case you think I am some kind of machine turning out projects left and right, it's not quite like that. I've been working on these hoodies since before Christmas. Because I'm an awful, awful friend, I never got them finished. But tonight we're meeting for dinner, so I thought this would be a good deadline to set for myself.

Today I made another loaf of no-knead bread, too. This time I used half a cup of rye flour, and it turned out great! This loaf is much more flavorful, but not too "brown" tasting.
